Frequently asked questions
What Valyxto does, what it doesn't, and how the managed service works.
The product
What is Valyxto?
Valyxto is cloud inventory and order management software for small and mid-sized businesses. It covers inventory across warehouses, order fulfilment and receiving, vendor management and customer follow-ups.
Who is Valyxto for?
Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, especially distributors and wholesalers with more than one location, and teams without in-house IT. With Valyxto CRM, it’s also for any business that sells and wants customers, quotes and sales orders in one place.
Can Valyxto manage more than one warehouse?
Yes. Stock is tracked by location, and transfers between warehouses are recorded as their own transactions.
Does it handle purchase orders and receiving?
Yes. You can receive purchase orders from vendors and fulfil sales orders against live stock.
Does Valyxto include a CRM?
It includes CRM-style customer records with tasks and opportunities, connected to the orders they lead to.
Does Valyxto send low-stock alerts?
Not today. Stock levels by item and location are always visible, but automated alerts are not part of the current product.
Is Valyxto accounting software?
No. Valyxto runs the day-to-day operations of your business: stock, orders, vendors and customers. You can create invoices and record payments against them manually, but Valyxto doesn’t do bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll or tax. Keep using your accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, for those. If your accountant needs operational numbers, you can pull them into Excel with Converge.
Setup and the managed service
Do I need an admin or implementation partner?
No. You set up your own data, such as units of measure, locations and categories. New workflows and features are built by the Valyxto team and quoted upfront.
Do you offer custom solutions?
Yes, that is how Valyxto works. When your business needs a new process, our team quotes it upfront and builds it into your application.
Excel and Converge
What is Converge?
Converge is an Excel add-in that connects Excel to Valyxto. Pull data into a workbook, work with it using normal Excel, and push updates back.
Does Converge sync both ways?
Yes. Data flows from Valyxto into Excel and changes flow back from Excel into Valyxto.
Can I save templates for recurring work?
Yes. Converge saves templates for the reports and updates you run regularly.
Is Converge free?
Converge is currently free to try.
Pricing and billing
How much does Valyxto cost?
$15,000 USD a year, billed annually. Valyxto CRM, for customers, quotes and sales orders only, is $10,000 USD a year. See pricing
Are there limits on users, locations or warehouses?
No. One annual price covers as many users, locations and warehouses as you need.
Is implementation included?
Implementation is a one-time fee, from $15,000 USD for Valyxto or $7,500 USD for Valyxto CRM, quoted upfront. Sometimes it isn't about the money. It's about the time it takes to get the work done, and that's what we're here for: to give you time back.
Do new features cost extra?
Each support plan includes a number of feature requests a year. Larger features, or requests beyond your plan, get a fixed quote before we start.
